Dear Hiring Manager,

As you'll see in the enclosed resume my strong background in the chemical and earth sciences spans the majority of my younger years (1985-2000).  During that time I received a BS and an MS in chemistry the first with a 2.97 GPA the latter with a 3.43 GPA.  I can think and communicate and understand the basics of university level science in chemistry as it pertains to assignments, research papers, formats and learning tools.  My undergraduate years lead me into the basics of computer science in Microsoft office XP and other platforms to programming in HTML and BASIC.  These years were productive in an academic sense.  I produced three publications with my mentor @ UTSA.  But I'd like to enter the private sector and use what I know in the university level sciences as it pertains to retail marketing given my penchant to tackle office work for clear cut results put to good use within the construct of a store like Office Depot.  My knowledge of chemistry in lab technical work accommodates chemistry and biotech so I am well versed in paper work and communicating within the office culture as a teaching assistant at the University of Houston and TAMU.  The reason why I am reentering the work force after a long hiatus is because I had issues to iron out both personal and professional to intercalate within the infrastructure.  As a regular customer service tech, I feel well versed in my ability to tackle the challenges of working at Office Depot in both English and Spanish.  Hire me and you'll obtain an employee with a high learning curve plus someone dedicated to doing good work at end of the day.  I look forward to hear from you to schedule a meeting.
